Pre/Post-Ride Tours

Volunteering & Pre/Post-Ride Tours

Enhance your Israel Ride experience by volunteering or with one of our pre and post-ride tours!

This year there are more opportunities to show solidarity and create connections with vulnerable communities on the ground impacted by the war.

While most of these tours are organized by third-party operators, they are custom-made for our Israel Ride participants and their guests only and you can only book through us.

We are integrating opportunities for solidarity, connection, and volunteering before, after, and during the Israel Ride! Israeli society has been resilient during this time thanks to the assistance and support from volunteers from around the world. Although we don’t know the exact needs in October/November, there will be opportunities before, after, and during the Ride to assist farmers, local businesses, and vulnerable people affected by the war in a meaningful way.

Example schedule for volunteering before, during and after the Israel Ride:• October 27-28: Optional Pre-Ride, 2 days of volunteering/solidarity in Israel• October 29: Israel Ride Orientation begins in Jerusalem!• October 30: First day, riding from Jerusalem to Ashkelon• October 31: Second day, option to do a day of volunteering/solidarity in the Gaza border communities where we normally ride past OR a day of cycling on an alternative route• November 1-2: Days three and four, cycle to the Dead Sea and spend a relaxing Shabbat there• November 3: Day five, ride to the Arava Institute and tour the Institute and Kibbutz Ketura• November 4: Day six, finish riding in Eilat with a beach celebration• November 5-7: Optional Post-Ride, 3 days of volunteering/solidarity in Israel OR join our Post-Ride Arava Institute Experience
