55 Miles – Hilly
This is the hilliest Sunday ride that Hazon will offer all summer. We will meet at the JCC Manhattan and cross the GW Bridge, and then head north following “Bike Route 9”, a signed bike route that heads north along the Hudson. Much of the route is on Route 9W, but includes excursions into the towns of Piermont, Nyack, Haverstraw, and others. At mile 45, we will reach Bear Mountain State Park (with an option for those who want to climb up). We cross the Hudson River and ride 10 more miles to Cold Spring, where we catch a train back to New York.
