May 13th: Mediation as a Tool for Resolving Environmental Conflict – Dr. Yael Teff-Seker
Dr. Yael Teff-Seker will give us a taste of her upcoming Fall 2020 course, “Environmental Mediation and Conflict Resolution.” Ecosystems and natural resources often straddle political borders. In cases of perceived competition, conflict can arise or worsen, leading to a zero-sum game perception. Mediation can be a tool to resolve these and other conflicts, and also improve bilateral communication while addressing real needs, capabilities and synergies, and improve the relationship for the long run too.
To join and view future dates/topics, visit the mini-series Facebook event. RSVP to the Facebook event to receive reminders before each session.
